Britain raises threat level to "critical" ... and the army is spreading


More than 5,000 British troops will be deployed in key locations in the UK after heightened fears over the terrorist attack that killed 22 people, including children, in Manchester on Monday night.
Britain's Prime Minister Teresa Mae, who also revealed on Tuesday that her country had raised the level of security threat to "critical" of "sharp" after the attack, announced the organization was calling for the militant.

May also said that members of the armed forces would enhance security at key locations, and military personnel might be deployed on public occasions such as concerts and sporting events.

The head of the British government that the Independent Commission, which determines the level of threat recommended to raise, after a man identified by the police as a Salman Obeidi, detonated an improvised explosive device in a banquet hall on Monday night, with the attendees of the ceremony.

"Based on today's investigations, we concluded that the level of preparedness should be raised from acute to critical," Mae said in a statement on television after a meeting of the government's Crisis Response Committee.

"This means that their assessment not only increases the likelihood of an attack, but indicates that another attack may be imminent," she said.

"The day-to-day effort has revealed a possibility that we can not ignore because there is a larger group of people involved in this attack," the prime minister added.
