Panama releases a Moroccan phosphate shipment that was seized

Panama's authorities have released a Moroccan phosphate shipment from the disputed Western Sahara region after being held for some time for challenging its legality from the Polisario Front, officials said on Monday.
The ship carrying the cargo was seized on May 18, the second phosphate-carrying ship from the Phosphate Complex, which is being arrested this month.

The Danish ship, Ultra Innovations, which carries 55,000 tons of phosphate rock across Panama to Vancouver port for Agrium, a Canadian agricultural products company, was released but did not comment further, a source from the phosphate complex said.
